Total Flexibility

The Anachem Flexus® combines flexi-span pipettors with robotic manipulation of plates, tubes and external devices. Flexi-span probes have independent Y and Z movement and are perfect for reformatting from tubes to plates or for cherry picking samples.

Flexible Configuration

The deck layout is composed of removable trays holding racks of plates, tubes or reservoirs,either flat or in stacks.

This allows the user to easily change to a new application by simply rearranging the trays to create a new layout.

Flexible Pipetting Options

The base unit can accommodate up to 2 arms, each with either 1, 2, 4 or 8 pipetting probes of interchangeable washable or disposable tips, or even a combination of both.

All pipetting probes are capable of liquid level and clot detection ensuring assay integrity with every run, whatever the sample type.

Flexible Sample Movement

Plate and tube grippers allow for manipulation of components on and off the bed area utilizing a 270^o rotation.

This provides easy access to external peripheral units and enables plates to be changed from landscape to portrait format, or vice versa as your application requires.

Flexible & Efficient Pumping System

Housed in the arm, the unique syringeless pumping system has a wide dynamic volume range (1µl to 2ml) and has extremely low maintenance requirements.

Larger pumps and tubing can allow transfer volumes of up to 50ml with washable probes.

The Flexus pump avoids the need for changing syringes, making it easier to use and saving time.

Flexible Sample Identification

Tracking your samples is critical in all high throughput applications and Flexus takes care of this.

Samples to be cherry picked can be identified by bar code on either a tube or plate.

Once transferred to the required destination or assay plate, their exact position can be traced.

Most commercially available bar codes can be read.

The information in the bar codes can be imported to, or exported from, most LIMS systems.
